SAN JUAN HILLS 58, TESORO 56: The Stallions (18-4) captured a victory in a showdown at Tesoro. John McFadden and Mark Reichner scored 17 points each and Jacob Simon 14 to lead San Juan Hills. Mason Brehmer and Thomas Hattan had five points each. San Juan Hills is ranked first and Tesoro second in this week’s CIF 2A poll.
SAN CLEMENTE 60, CAPO VALLEY 58: Asher Gardiner scored 15 points, Easton Cattich had 14 points and Tanner Mehrens 10 points to lead the Tritons (13-6, 2-2) to the South Coast League victory.
CALVARY CHAPEL 66, ESTANCIA 28: League-leading Calvary Chapel (15-7, 4-0) led the whole game in the Orange Coast League game. Ethan Hanning of Calvary Chapel led all scorers with 16 points. Rafael Sermarini had 12 points for the Eagles. Jaedon Shea led Estancia with seven points.
NEWPORT HARBOR 49, LAGUNA BEACH 45 (OT): The Sailors Brandon Kincaid hit the game-winning 3-pointer and led his team with 17 points. Newport Harbor is 15-6 overall.
LAGUNA HILLS 62, UNIVERSITY 41: The Hawks (10-9, 2-3) won their sixth in a row defeating the Trojans in a Pacific Coast League game. Michael Bichel had 29 points and Dominic Bolton 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists to lead Laguna Hills.
SANTA MARGARITA 69, ORANGE LUTHERAN 60: The Eagles improved their record to 15-1 with a Trinity League victory. Rockwell Reynolds led Santa Margarita with 26 points. Cameron Mercadel had 11 points and Kyle Evans 10 points.
MATER DEI 48, JSERRA 47: The Monarchs (17-2, 2-held on for the Trinity League win. Scotty Belnap had 14 points and four assists, Zack Davidson scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Tee Barlett had 12 rebounds for Mater Dei.
JSerra (12-5, 2-2) was led by Eric Bryson with 12 points and Aidan Fowler with 11 points.
SANTA ANA 52, COSTA MESA 47: The Saints (11-7, 3-1) captured an Orange Coast League victory. Emmanuel Lemus had 24 points and Jack Rivera eight points to lead Santa Ana.
ST. JOHN BOSCO 70, SERVITE 43: Servite was led by Tyler Small, who had 16 points. Ali Amin Juma had 11 points and Miles Song nine.
TRABUCO HILLS 48, MISSION VIEJO 44 (OT): The Mustangs (11-9, 2-2) were led by Jack Warnick, who had 11 points and 10 rebounds, Nathan Tuttle, who had nine points and Lincoln Lantz, who had eight points in the South Coast League game.
