Santa Ana High School’s boys basketball team started out fast and then picked up the pace in the third quarter coasting to a 71-54 Orange Coast League victory over Estancia Friday night at Estancia.
The Saints were led by Jack Rivera, who scored 19 points, Deaven Perez, who had 18 points and Emmanuel Lemus, who had 16 points.

Santa Ana (10-7, 2-1) moved out to a 51-26 lead in the third quarter.
“Our boys executed the game plan extremely well,” said Santa Ana Coach Fareed ElMasry. “We were lucky to get our outside shots to fall early which led us to sharing the ball. Absolute team effort tonight. I was very proud.”
Estancia (15-6, 1-1) was led by Jaedon Hose-Shea, who had 18 points.
