Fullerton, which finished as the runner-up, is also continuing post-season play.
After winning the CIF Division 4AA title Friday night, Garden Grove’s boys basketball team opens the state championships this week.
No. 7 seeded Garden Grove will host No. 10 seeded Los Angeles CES Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the first game of the Division IV Southern California Regional.
The Argonauts won their first CIF title in the 101-year history of the school, defeating Fullerton 54-50 in a thrilling final at Garden Grove. Click here for photos and game story:
Fullerton is also headed the state championships. The No. 9-seeded Indians will play at No. 8 Chatsworth Tuesday night in the Division IV opener.
