Crean Lutheran’s boys basketball team, coached by Austin Loeb, clinched its second straight Crestview League title, defeating Foothill 78-65 Friday night in the Saints regular season finale at Crean Lutheran.

The Saints (21-7, 7-1) will now wait for the announcement of the CIF playoff pairings on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Chadrack Mpoyi scored 24 points and Matteo Hernandez and Bryce Coleman 11 points each to lead the Saints.
“It was a special night celebrating our seniors,” Loeb said. “We’re blessed by who they are and what they’ve meant to our program. Finishing it with a league title was a great way to honor them on senior night.
“This group helped set the tone for where this program is headed. We’re excited for the playoffs and the chance to keep competing.”
Foothill (8-19, 0-7) has one more game left Tuesday at home against Cypress.
