Crean Lutheran’s girls volleyball team captured its second win in the CIF Division 5 playoffs, defeating Buckley in three sets Saturday night in the second round at Northwood.
The scores were 25-16, 25-20, 25-17. Crean Lutheran moves on to the quarterfinal round of the playoffs Wednesday at Oxnard.
“Madison Moore lead the way by hitting an astounding .440 while passing a 2.5,” said Crean Lutheran Coach Monty Johns. “Katie Thies did a great job of spreading out the offense.”
