Calvary Chapel High School’s boys basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit in the third quarter to defeat Santa Ana 77-67 Wednesday night in an Orange Coast League game at Calvary Chapel.
Santa Ana held a 40-30 lead at halftime but Calvary Chapel battled back to take a 53-51 lead going into the final quarter.

Calvary Chapel (8-5, 3-0) was led by Carson Franklin with 17 points and Brannon Berry, who scored 15 points.
Santa Ana (8-3, 0-2) was led by Jack Rivera, who scored a game-high 28 points. Emmanuel Lemus added 15 points for the Saints. Santa Ana plays at Costa Mesa Friday at 5 p.m.
Calvary Chapel plays at St. Margaret’s Friday night at 6:30 in a battle of undefeated league teams.
