Orange County boys basketball highlights, final scores for Thursday, Dec. 18

NON-LEAGUE

EL DORADO 92, VALENCIA 84: The Golden Hawks (11-1) won the Kramer Cup with a hard-fought victory Thursday night. Jack Boettner had 26 points and Evan Nam 23 points to lead El Dorado. Ryan Northcutt had 16 points and 12 rebounds for El Dorado which rallied from a 20 point deficit to win.

CYPRESS 57, SAN CLEMENTE 50: The Centurions captured a road win Thursday night. Cypress (9-4) was led by Emmanuel Igbekoyi with 16 points (three of three 3-pointers) and eight rebounds. Gavin Kroll and Ethan MaiĀ each had 12 points and three of three 3-pointers.

San Clemente (6-6) was led by Bryan Blake with 22 points and four 3-pointers.

Cypress plays Fairmont Prep on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Challenge for CHOC hosted by Sonora

WHITNEY 59, IRVINE 55: Irvine (7-6) put up a battle on the road before losing. Holden Stearns had a career high 24 points, Jalen Yim and Chase Brito had 10 points each for Irvine. The Vaqueros are off until facing Tesoro in the North-South Challenge on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 4:30 p.m. Tesoro.

ESPERANZA 59, YORBA LINDA 47: The Aztecs (13-1) won their 11th in a row Thursday night. Brody Reeds scored 14 points and Nicholas Sosa and Vincent Garza 10 points each. Yorba Linda was led by Josh Willerer who had 17 points and Jake Waters, who scored 14 points.
