Crean Lutheran High School’s girls volleyball team is among the squads taking place in the inaugural CIF Beach Volleyball Championships.

Crean Lutheran (11-2) is seeded No. 4 in Division 2 and opened the playoffs with a wild card victory over Torrance. Crean Lutheran moves on to the opening round Wednesday at 3 p.m. vs. St. Joseph/Lakewood at Long Beach City College.
JSerra is third and Mater Dei fourth in Division 1. St. Margaret’s is seeded second and Capistrano Valley third in Division 2.
The finals will be on Saturday, May 6 at Long Beach City College.
