BOYS

Century Conference

Foothill 56, Yorba Linda 46: The Knights (23-2, 3-0) were led by Carlo Billings, who scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds and had five assists. Isaiah Bernard had nine points, five rebounds and four assists, Travis Paleo nine points, Zach Stead eight points and Jordan Martin seven points and four rebounds. Foothill Coach Yousof Etemadi earned his 100th career victory.

Tanner Yoon scored 16 points to lead Yorba Linda.

Brea Olinda 63, El Dorado 58

Empire League

Cypress 66, Valencia 54: The Centurions were led by Michael Wright who finished with 15 points and six rebounds. Kason White had 12 points and seven rebounds and Mickey Kadowaki had eight points and six rebounds for Cypress (13-11, 5-1).

“It was a battle, Valencia was hitting shots all game,” said Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell. “We were able to speed up the tempo in the third and got on a roll.”

The Centurions remained a game behind league-leading Crean Lutheran.

Valencia (6-14, 1-5) was led by Dylan Cheng, who had 14 points and Adam Alkilani and Aidan Tom, who had 10 points each.

Academy League

Fairmont Academy SJC 86, Tarbut V’ Torah 50:  With the victory, Fairmont Academy remained undefeated in the Academy League with a 5-0 record. TVT (10-6, 3-3) was led by Isaac Joelson, who had 16 points and Yonah Light, who scored 12 points.

Pacific Coast League

Northwood 60, Irvine 54 (OT)

Woodbridge 56, Portola 52: Woodbridge was led by Stephen Lamp and JC Schindler, who had 15 points each. Portola (14-10, 3-3) was led by Devin Daniel, who had 21 points and Colin Huang, who scored 13 points.

Beckman 72, University 64: The Patriots were led by Caydon Do, who had 20 points and seven rebounds. Sam Evans scored 15 points, Abhi Archarya had 14 points and eight assists and Miguel Lllanes had eight rebounds and nine assists for the Patriots (13-10, 4-2).

GIRLS

Pacific Coast League

Portola 53, Woodbridge 51: The Bulldogs (20-5, 2-1) were led by Moka Saiki who had 25 points and 12 rebounds and Kira Watanabe who had 14 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Woodbridge (15-8, 1-2) was led by Maddie Yasui, who had 12 points and four 3-pointers; Hana Watanabe and Milan Heisdorf, who had 11 points each.

Empire League
