Twenty boys basketball teams, most of them from Orange County, will compete in the annual Estancia Coast Classic beginning Tuesday at Estancia High School.
There will be a silver and gold division, according to Estancia Coach Xavier Castellano
“We’re trying to make it as competitive as possible with teams from the same (CIF) division/strength in the same tourney,” the coach said.
The tournament wraps up next Saturday with finals in each of the two divisions.
Gold Division
Pool A: San Bernardino, Irvine, Laguna Beach and San Clemente.
Pool B: Arlington, LB Cabrillo, Fountain Valley and Woodbridge.

Friday, Dec. 29: noon, Woodbridge vs. LB Cabrillo; 1:30 p.m., Arlington vs. Fountain Valley; 3 p.m., San Bernardino vs. Laguna Beach; 4:30 p.m., San Clemente vs. Irvine
Saturday, Dec. 30: 10:30 a.m., seventh place; noon, fifth place; 4:30 p.m. third place; 7:30 p.m. championship.
Silver Division
