Northwood’s Sanjana Venkatesh commits to play water polo at UCSB

Sanjana Venkatesh, the starting goalkeeper on Northwood’s girls water polo team since her freshman year, committed last week to play the sport at UC Santa Barbara, according to TImberwolves’ coach Kyle Kim-E.

“She knew from the beginning that her goal was to play collegiately and UCSB was one of her dream schools,” Kim-E said. “To see everything come together three years later is a testament to all of her hard work year-round at Northwood and through club in the off season.”

Northwood will begin its regular season in December.
