Scores and highlights from Tuesday, April 29.

PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE

IRVINE 2, ST. MARGARET’S 0: Irvine senior Drake Brito hurled his second consecutive seven inning no-hitter leading the Vaqueros to a Pacific Coast League victory over St. Margaret’s Tuesday night in San Juan Capistrano.

Brito struck out 18 and walked one. Irvine was led offensively by Evan Tamayo, who was 2 for 4 with two RBI and Hudson Hall, who was 1 for 2 with a walk.

“Drake was in complete control throughout the game,” Irvine Coach Gabriel Cota told OC Sports Zone Wednesday. “He was hitting his spots with all of his pitches and trusting the calls. His battery mate, Nico Macalino, was solid behind the plate. Those two have full faith in each other. Drake faced three over the minimum, and finished with 18 strikeouts.”
