Fullerton College’s men’s basketball team is headed to the semifinals of the CCCAA State Basketball Tournament at Ventura College after rallying for a 71-68 victory over Santa Rosa in the quarterfinals Thursday.

Coach Perry Webster’s Hornets will face Fresno City College Saturday at 3 p.m. in the semifinals. Fresno defeated Chaffey College 68-56 Thursday night.
Lance Coleman II led Fullerton College with 31 points and scored the last 13 points as the Hornets rallied from a 7-point deficit with 6:22 left to win 71-68.
Coleman also had 13 rebounds.
Ronnie Read added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Fullerton College.
Skylar Chavez led Santa Rosa with 28 points.
