Four Orange County high school girls soccer teams earned top four seedings in the CIF playoffs that begin this week.
CIF officials announced Tuesday that there are seven divisions and 248 teams in the playoffs, which begin Thursday with wild card matches in some divisions.
First round matches are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12 in all divisions. The finals will be on Saturday, Feb. 25, at designated home sites.
Crestview League champion Villa Park is seeded fourth in Division 1, South Coast League No. 3 team Tesoro is second in Division 2, Pacific Coast League champion Portola is fourth in Division 3 and Academy League champion Capistrano Valley Christian is seeded fourth in Division 7.
