CYPRESS 48, PACIFICA 29: Centurions coach Derek Mitchell got his 150th career victory with the Empire League win.
Pacifica led 17-8 after the first quarter but Cypress held Pacifica to 12 points the rest of the way.
“We were discombobulated when they continued to slow the game down and go four corners every possession,” Mitchell said. “Eventually, we were able to get stops and convert on offense.”
Devon Washington and Kody Papke scored 13 points each to lead Cypress (7-4, 5-1).
Pacifica was led by Shaun Fabisiak, who scored 10 points.
CREAN LUTHERAN 52, TUSTIN 41: The Saints (8-1, 6-0) remained atop the Empire League standings with the win at Crean Lutheran. Michael Birket led the Saints with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists. Alex Davis had 10 points and nine rebounds and Parker Tuttle had nine points.
FOOTHILL 55, EL DORADO 38: The Knights (15-3, 3-1) were led by Jacob Horton, who scored 15 points and had three steals. Mikey Mazurie had 10 points and four rebounds for Foothill.
BECKMAN 66, IRVINE 46: Jake Morrison scored 17 points, and Ethan Bozzo and Kabir Trivei scored 11 points each to lead Beckman (9-4, 7-1) to the Pacific Coast League victory.
Irvine (0-10, 0-8) was led by Nicholas DeLuca, who scored 24 points.
PORTOLA 55, LAGUNA HILLS 39: Portola (7-5, 5-3) was led by Colin Huang, who scored 11 points; Josh Steinberg, who had 10 points and Patrick Miranda, who had eight points in the PCL game.
Laguna Hills (5-5, 4-4) was led by Jake Woodall, who scored 13 points and David Moon, who had 12 points.
SAN JUAN HILLS 78, EL TORO 77: The Stallions won in triple overtime. Nathan Goltara scored 17 points, Thomas Hattan had 16 points and Ryan Little 12 points.
