Cypress boys basketball team inched closer to another Empire League title defeating Pacifica 75-56 Tuesday night at Pacifica.
It was the Centurions 17th consecutive league win over two seasons.
Cypress (23-2, 7-0) was led by Jared Brown who scored 25 points and made five 3-pointers. Brown moved into the 1,000-point career club by scoring his first nine points.
Anthony Tello scored 16 points and had nine rebounds and eight assists. Clifton Patterson Jr. had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Pacifica (16-9, 2-5) was led by Andrew Brown with 23 points and Tyler Fabisiak with 12 points.
