Cypress High’s boys basketball team captured the consolation title at the Bellflower Tournament Saturday, defeating La Serna 70-62.
Eddie Spencer led Cypress with 22 points and seven 3-point field goals. Elijah Vaielua had 13 points and Kai Nagano 10 points for the Centurions.
Coach Derek Mitchell’s team will be in the Orange County North South Challenge next Friday at 7:30 p.m. vs. San Juan Hills at Tesoro.
