Crean Lutheran’s girls basketball team captured a 108-32 victory against Big Bear on Saturday afternoon at Crean Lutheran and it was a memorable game for the Saints.
“We set a school record with most points scored in a single game,” said Coach Bianca Ziemann.
The previous record was 102.
“Everyone played and everyone had a great attitude which I am mostly happy with,” Ziemann said.
Taylor Feldman led Crean Lutheran with 46 points and 11 steals, five points off her school record of 51.
Crean Lutheran hosts University Tuesday and then meets Santa Fe on Friday at home.
Woodbridge 51, Warren 40: Woodbridge High’s girls basketball team wrapped up the Ocean View Tournament defeating Warren 51-40 on Saturday.
Erika Maggard scored 20 points and Maddie Yasui added 10 points for the Warriors (5-2).
Maggard was named to the all-tournament team.
University 46, Valley Christian 42: The Trojans outscored Valley Christian by four points in the final quarter to win the game. Guilia Roy scored 17 points and Aryn Press 11 points to lead University.
Pacifica Christian 66, Brethren Christian 11: Anna Epps scored 19 points, Nola Mihaly-Garvin scored 17 points and Charis Wondercheck scored 16 points to lead Pacifica Christian.
