Crean Lutheran’s boys basketball team captured a 76-58 victory over Vista Murrieta Friday night in the Eagle Classic at Capo Valley Christian.
The Saints were led by Jackson Ebner who scored 22 points. Drew Yezbak added 16 points for Crean Lutheran.
Century 45, El Modena 42: Eduardo Sorto scored 29 points to lead Century. Rodrigo Ramirez had 10 points for the Centurions.
Godinez 51, Fullerton 49: Godinez improved its record to 5-3 with the nonleague win Friday at Godinez. Andrew Valdez scored 24 points and Joseph Lopez 16 to lead the Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are back in action Tuesday at the Lodinez Tournament.
Kennedy 63, Oxford Academy 45: Jason Kwan led Kennedy with outstanding defense. He had nine points, four steals and three assists for the Fighting Irish (9-2).
Huntington Beach 61, Segerstrom 46: Richard Imagawa scored 16 points and Michael Hennessy nine points to lead the Oilers (4-7) in a nonleague game at Huntington Beach.
Portola 67, Woodbridge 58: The Bulldogs (3-7) won a consolation round game at the Gary Raya So Cal Elite Classic against their Pacific Coast League rivals. Robert Giraldy scored 26 points and Soma Doherty 17 to lead Portola. Woodbridge (0-10) was led by Eli Hill with 17 points and Nygle Williams with 11 points.
Colony 53, Laguna Beach 50: Colony won the Gary Raya semifinal at El Dorado and will face Tesoro Saturday night at 6:15 p.m. at Portola in the championship game.,
