“It is a three game series that started on Monday,” McCaffrey said. “The teams were chosen in a draft. We purchased orange and black jerseys for the teams to wear this week. The boys will play in Halloween costumes this afternoon (Wednesday).
“The week will conclude with a game on Thursday against St. John Bosco where our boys will wear their orange and black uniforms again.”
The orange team manager is senior Anthony DiFerdinando. The team in black uniforms is led by senior Reece Burger.
“The CdM coaches are spectators and the boys will manage their own teams.” McCaffrey said. “They met with the umpire before the game to go over ground rules, made the lineups and substitution and coached the bases. The black (uniform) team has won the first two games of the series.
“The boys have had fun the past two days and we have had some competitive games.”
