The CIF football polls were released a day late because of Monday’s Labor Day holiday.
Mater Dei is ranked second in Division 1 behind St. John Bosco. Orange Lutheran is fifth and Mission Viejo sixth.
Corona del Mar is ranked third in Divison 4.
In Division 8, Katella is ranked first, Santa Ana is ranked fifth and Fountain Valley ranked eighth. Woodbridge, after losing to Fountain Valley 35-20, fell out of the rankings in Division 8.
Aliso Niguel is ranked second in Division 9 and Ocean View fourth in Division 11.
