Foothill’s football team, the North Hills League champion, is top seeded in the CIF Division 9 playoffs.
The Knights, coached by Doug Case, will take on Troy, an at-large team from the Freeway League, in the opener this week at Tustin. Foothill is 10-0 and Troy 3-7.
Highland (7-3), the Golden League champion, is the No. 2 seed, Monrovia (9-1), the Rio Hondo League champion, is the third seed and Palm Springs (6-4), the Desert Empire League runner-up, is the fourth seed.
