It was the most anticipated day of the high school basketball season as boys basketball teams found out their opening round match-ups in the CIF playoffs this week.
Some teams who didn’t qualify in the top three of their leagues hoped for at-large berths. CIF officials said 296 boys teams were selected.
CIF officials announced the pairings at noon Sunday.
Wild card games are on Tuesday and first round games Wednesday at 7 p.m.
