Corona del Mar High School’s standout lineman Thomas Bouda has committed to play college football at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Sea Kings coach Dan O’Shea confirmed on Monday.
“Yes, Thomas has committed to Cal Poly SLO and we as a program could not be more thrilled,” O’Shea said.
“Along with Tommy Griffin and Jake Trachtman headed there… a fun threesome to have up in the land of Mustangs.”
O’Shea said Bouda will play either offensive or defensive line at Cal Poly.
Bouda (6-4, 250) still has another season left with the Sea Kings. CdM and other football teams are waiting on a possible schedule from the CIF State Office after delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. The office has said it is waiting on further guidance from the California Department of Public Health.
Griffin announced he committed to Cal Poly in September.
