The Patriots have started off 3-1 overall.
“We played really well,” said Beckman Coach Kevin LaValle. “We used six pitchers, and it was nice to get everyone out there competing. We were lucky to play the game with all the rain, and it took a lot of work to get it in, but the whole program came out early to pitch in.”
Lavalle said he was pleased with the pitching.
“Sean Ledendecker got his first career varsity start and first career varsity win,” LaValle said.
Alec Gomez, CJ Burnette, and Jackson Galentine had two hits for Beckman.
