A look at some of the Orange County high school football standouts during week four based on OC Sports Zone’s coverage and team posts on X:
Noah Nam, Beckman: The Patriots quarterback completed 15 of 19 passes for 142 yards in a 31-0 non-league victory over Woodbridge. Beckman is off to a 5-0 start and has a bye this week.
Cruz Gonzalez, Rancho Alamitos: The senior led the way for the Vaqueros scoring two TDs, including a 47-yard run in the first quarter and wound up rushing for 121 yards on 17 carries in a 37-3 victory over Godinez Friday night.
Damari Carter, University: The running back scored two touchdowns and rushed for 149 yards on 28 carries in the Trojans 24-21 overtime victory over Garden Grove.
Brandon “Figgy” Figueroa: The senior running back had two touchdowns and rushed for more than 100 yards in Irvine’s 28-14 victory over Kennedy Friday night.
Deacon Moss, Irvine: Moss had a TD catch and recovered a fumble for a TD and blocked a PAT.
Taurian Nash, Crean Lutheran: Nash rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown to lead Crean Lutheran to a 20-0 road victory over defending CIF Division 4 champion La Serna.
Tanner Silber, Tesoro: The Titans senior had his best game as a Titan, hauled in four catches for 124 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 victory over Cypress. The Titans (3-2) have a bye this week.
Cole Hidalgo, Northwood: Hidalgo accounted for all the points in the Timberwolves’ 20-9 victory over Portola. Hidalgo had two field goals, a touchdown and a pick six on defense for Northwood (5-0). The Timberwolves have a bye this week.
Quinlan Russell, Calvary Chapel: Russell completed 10 of 23 passes for 174 yards and one TD pass in the Eagles 44-13 victory over Pasadena Polytechnic.
Matt Peters, Calvary Chapel: Peters rushed for 122 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown in the win.
Tristan Gutman, Trabuco Hills: Gutman had five tackles, two for a loss and one sack in the Mustangs 35-20 victory over El Toro. The Mustangs play Friday vs. Corona del Mar at Newport Harbor.
Alex Kiernan, Trabuco Hills: Kiernan had six catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions on defense.
Steel Kurtz, Huntington Beach: The junior free safety led the Oilers to a 31-21 victory over Mayfair and was named the team’s player of the game.
