Star baseball pitcher Vincent Tinajero of Santa Ana High School threw a no-hitter in February in the Saints 11-0 victory over Los Amigos.
Tinajero, who signed with Bradley University last November, was looking forward to finishing his career with the Saints before the season was stopped.
Here are a few memorable stories, one from the no-hit game, and another (which includes lots of pictures) by Fernando M. Donado when Tinajero signed with Bradley University in November. OC Sports Zone provided exclusive coverage of the signing ceremony.
We’ve also included Coach Dave Silva’s tribute to his team after the season ended this year.
