Portola’s girls basketball team notched a non-league victory Saturday defeating Costa Mesa 59-25.
Portola (3-0) was led by Allyson Tabayoyong, who scored 18 points. Moka Saiki added 12 points, four assists and five steals and Maddy Noh had 10 points and four steals. Donia Maymoun added seven points and 16 rebounds for Portola.
Woodbridge 67, Costa Mesa 23: Woodbridge (2-0) was led by Erika Maggard, who had 24 points. Elyse Arragon had nine points and Maddie Yusui seven points.
University 55, Indian Springs 32: The Trojans captured their final game at the Norco Tournament. Claire Kawata scored 22 points to lead University. Aryn Press added 16 points. Press also had 13 rebounds.
Western 45, Estancia 23: Western captured the first round game in the Santiago Tournament. Estancia was led by Melia Kenneth, who had six points and Elisa Fernandez, who had four points and seven rebounds.
