University 70, Santa Ana 64: The Trojans (1-1) were led by Andrew Bogard, who had 19 points, 14 in the second half on four 3-pointers) in the consolation round game. Isaac Evans had 17 points, Christian DeBarge 14 points and 20 rebounds and Arjun Gupta 10 points. Santa Ana (0-2) was led by Jack Rivera, who had 32 points. Pedro Moran had 11 points and Aaron Rivera 10 points for the Saints.

Servite 79, Saddleback 24: The Friars opened the season with a home win. CJ Landazabal had 14 points, Joaquin Rigdon 12 points, Luke Duarte 11 points and Jake Schutt 10 points to lead Servite, which led 38-13 at halftime.
