ESTANCIA 8, CALVARY CHAPEL 3: The Eagles captured the first game of the Orange Coast League make-up doubleheader Friday at Estancia.
Miles Moyer (5-0) pitched a complete game, allowing three runs, no earned, six hits and struck out four.
Cole Lefebvre was 2 for 4 with two runs scored, two RBI and a double; Moyer was 3 for 3 with a run scored and two RBI and Emmett Shephard was 1 for 3 with a run scored and a double.
CALVARY CHAPEL 2, ESTANCIA 1: In the second game, Andrew Mits (4-2) threw a complete game for Estancia but Calvary Chapel earned a split with the win. John Uchytil was 2 for 3 with a RBI and Jake Humphries 1 for 3 with a run scored and a double for Estancia (10-2, 3-1).
FULLERTON 16, DOUGLAS, NEV. 4: The Indians were led by Conor Sunderland, who was 1 for 2 with a grand slam, four RBI and three runs scored; Nate Norman, who was 3 for 3 with a home run with three RBI and four runs scored and a double; Malachi Meni, who was 3 for 3 with three RBI and two runs scored. Declan Fitzgerald pitched 2 1/3 hitless innings striking out three.
COSTA MESA 21, LEGACY COLLEGE PREP 0: The Mustangs (11-1) were led by Will Clark, who allowed one hit in five innings and struck out eight. Clark is now 4-0. Sam Stute was 2 for 3 with a double and four RBI, Grady Jackson was 2 for 5 with a home run and five RBI and Wylan Rottschafer was 2 for 2 with five runs scored, two RBI and three stolen bases.
VILLA PARK 3, FOOTHILL 2: Zach Brown (3-0) got the victory for the Spartans. In 5 1/3 innings, he allowed four hits and one run and struck out six. Andrew Grove earned the save. Gavin Grahovac was 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI and Geoff McArthur was 1 for 3 with an RBI.. Nathan Pone was 3 for 3 with an RBI.
