Woodbridge High School’s star strong safety and wide receiver Dereck “DJ” Moore signed his national letter of intent Wednesday to attend college and play Division 1 college football for the University of New Mexico.
Moore was joined by his father, Dereck, other family members, Woodbridge coach Aaron Craver and some of his Warrior teammates. Moore said he was recruited to play defense for New Mexico.
Woodbridge also honored water polo player Ryan Deland, who had already signed with Augustana College and soccer player Sabrina Go, who had signed earlier with Cal Poly Pomona.
