WRAP-UP: Ryan Lemmon Showcase provided lasting memories for senior players

The 25th annual Ryan Lemmon Senior Showcase is in the books after five games last weekend in Irvine and for many players, it was their final high school baseball game.

The games were held Friday and Saturday, on the same days at the CIF finals at Cal State Fullerton but event organizer Dick Owens indicated he was pleased with how the showcase went.

There were also two home run hitting contests. Zander Bretza of Segerstrom won the contest on Friday.

Coaches from each league teamed up to coach in the games at Ryan Lemmon Stadium. The event was sponsored by the Ryan Lemmon Foundation.
