Crean Lutheran completes perfect league season with victory and Costa Mesa wins

CREAN LUTHERAN 87, PACIFICA 36: Crean Lutheran completed an undefeated Empire League season with a victory Thursday night.

The Saints (22-3, 10-0) were led by Vyctorius Miller, who scored 27 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four assists. Rui Han and Parker Tuttle had 12 points each and Darrell Morris scored 10 points and recorded five assists.

Crean Lutheran, which won the Empire League crown for the second consecutive season, will find out its opening round playoff opponent when the CIF pairings are announced Tuesday.

COSTA MESA 51, SADDLEBACK 38: The Mustangs, who had already clinched third place in the Orange Coast League, wrapped up league play with a win Friday night. Costa Mesa (11-16, 6-4) was led by Aiden Spallone, who had 15 points, five rebounds and two steals.

Josh Galamgan had 13 points and three assists and Nate Shipper 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.
