Santa Ana College’s football team, coming off a breakthrough 2021 season, opens a new year on Saturday, Sept. 3 against Fullerton College at 6 p.m. at the Santa Ana Stadium.
The Dons have a scrimmage vs. East Los Angeles College on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m. at Santa Ana Stadium.
Santa Ana College finished 7-4 and won the American Division/Metro League title for the first time since 2017, and for only the second time in 22 years.
SAC’s first-year head coach Anthony White was named Coach of the Year and quarterback Ceasar Ayala, who threw for 2,487 yards and 33 touchdown passes, received the offensive player of the Year award.
Admission prices for the home games will remain the same as last year, SAC officials said. The prices are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students. SAC students and staff and children will be admitted free of charge.
At this time, tickets may only be purchased before the games, cash only.
