The Pacific Coast League softball match-up between Woodbridge and Beckman, scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, at Lower Peters Canyon, has been postponed and will be played on Monday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m., according to Beckman Athletic Director Steve Fischel.
The make-up will be at Lower Peters Canyon Park, Beckman’s home field.
Fischel said there were not enough umpires to work games on Tuesdays and Thursdays and he was advised that those games be moved.
Woodbridge defeated Beckman 6-4 in a league game on Thursday, March 9.
Woodbridge (5-5-1 overall) currently leads the league with a 3-0 record. Beckman (9-7, 4-1) is in second place.
Northwood (5-3, 2-1) and Irvine (8-7, 2-1) are also in the playoff hunt. Irvine is ranked second and Northwood third in the lastest CIF Division 4 polls.
The polls were not published this week.
All the teams have numerous makeup dates due to rainouts before completing their schedules by the end of April.
