Woodbridge and University girls basketball teams both captured Pacific Coast League victories Friday to remain tied for first place in the Pacific Coast League.
Woodbridge (15-8, 5-1) defeated Irvine 48-26. Kathleen Wasserman had 19 points and Erika Maggard 14 points to lead Woodbridge.
University (10-14, 5-1) defeated Northwood 45-31. Claire Kawata scored 19 points and Aryn Press 14 points to lead the Trojans who led 26-14 at halftime.
