The Santa Ana defense forced three first-half turnovers against Woodbridge in route to the Saints’ third victory of the season.
Santa Ana’s football team defeated Woodbridge 40-21 Thursday night at Santa Ana Valley to improve its record to 3-2.
Quarterback Julian Gomez has thrown two touchdown passes and rushed for two touchdowns in the first half.
The two touchdown passes went to Drew Ramirez for 9 and 18 yards.
Woodbridge was victimized by three turnovers which led to three scores.
