Before Friday night’s kickoff the Los Angeles Chargers recognized Woodbridge Coach Rick Gibson as coach of the week for the Warriors week zero 35-14 win over Cypress.
The Chargers, represented by fourth year wide receiver Jeremy Davis (from University of Connecticut), Chargers PR representatives and the Chargers cheerleaders, donated $1,000 Woodbridge athletic program.
“We’re very appreciative and grateful to the Chargers for recognizing our school,” said Gibson. “It’s always nice to be recognized and they are doing a great job building a fan base in Orange County.”
