Ocean View 52, Brawley 45: The Seahawks won their second straight tourney game Wednesday. Senior Peyton Guerrero had 35 points and junior Brayden Ackerman and freshman Leroy Davis each had seven points to lead Ocean View (9-7).
Estancia Coast Classic
Irvine 63, Valencia 47: The Vaqueros moved into the semifinals of the tourney Thursday at 6 p.m. Cooper Stearns had 27 points, Todd Bryan 11 points and Archit Raul nine points to lead Irvine (10-8).
Anaheim Colony Tournament
Northwood 84, Loara 71: The Timberwolves kept their championship hopes alive with a victory in the tournament. Ryan Abaye had 31 points, seven assists and five steals; Aditya Sheth had 19 points, four rebounds and two assists; Zaid Yunis had 13 points and four rebounds, Sam Alegre had 13 points and two assists and Matthew Boothroyd had two points and 10 rebounds to lead Northwood.
Las Vegas Prep Championship
Cypress 64, Las Vegas 60: The Centurions captured a win Wednesday night. Cypress trailed by four points at halftime. Jonas Hanson led with 16 points, Michael Wright added 15 points and Jonah Kim scored nine points.
“We overcame adversity today,” said Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell. “Our season has been about growth over outcome and we are finally playing better basketball. We would not have this game at the beginning of the season.”
Damien Classic
Pacifica Christian 63, Long Beach Poly 59: The Tritons (10-5) were led by Salim Seeman with 23 points and EJ Spillman, who scored 19 points.
Mt. Carmel Holiday Classic
El Dorado 52, San Luis Obispo 43: El Dorado was led by Cooper Bladow, who had 31 points and made five 3-point field goals. Logan Mounce had seven points, Mike Bakke had six points and seven rebounds and Nathan Meek had five points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks (10-6).
Torrey Pines Holiday Classic
St. Augustin 65, JSerra 58: The Lions (11-2) were led by Aidan Fowler who had 25 points and Sebastian Rancik who scored 21 points.
Desert Holiday Classic
Servite 62, Xavier Prep 33: Servite (9-3) was led by Jacob Martin and Brenden Tom, who had 10 points each.
Foothill 48, Western Christian 36: The Knights were led by Rocco Gaffoglio, who had 11 points and two rebounds; Carlo Billings, who had nine points, six rebounds and three assists and Isaiah Bernard, who had eight points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
