Sonora’s baseball team opened the CIF Division 4 playoffs defeating Lompoc 4-0 Friday afternoon.
Hector Garcia went the distance for the Raiders, throwing a complete game shut-out. Sonora won the Freeway League title after finishing in last place last season.
