It was all Segerstrom Friday night as the Jaguars rolled to a 53-0 victory over city opponent Godinez in front of a capacity crowd at Segerstrom. Segerstrom is 2-0, Godinez 1-1.
“We played solid on both sides of the ball,” said Segerstrom Coach Joseph Tagaloa. “We were led by the play of Angel Vega at quarterback offensively. He was a dual threat by running and throwing for multiple touchdowns. Defensively we swarmed to the ball with Saul Ramirez leading the charge with multiple pass deflections and a big sack to start off the game. Tony Gomez added a field goal late to get our special teams involved.”
