Santa Ana’s football team has defeated Saddleback 45-0 and Segerstrom defeated Marina 59-13 behind a five-touchdown school record performance by Angel Vega.
Patrick McMorris had the first 21 points for Santa Ana, three touchdowns and three point afters. Miguel Leon had a 1-yard TD run for the other. He had run 40 yards to get to the 1.
Then Gomez connected with Cruz on a 60-yard TD and Brian Guevara intercepted a pass and returned it for a score.
Saddleback turned the ball over its first three possessions and Santa Ana converted.
