Santa Ana High’s star running back/defensive back Patrick McMorris has received a fifth offer, this one from San Diego State University, according to Saints defensive coordinator Dee Meza.
Meza made the announcement Wednesday on Twitter.
“Congratulations Patrick McMorris on his fifth scholarship offer from San Diego State,” Meza wrote.
Last week, Santa Ana Coach Charlie TeGantvoort confirmed with OC Sports Zone that Idaho State University had made an offer to McMorris. That was the fourth offer that McMorris had received.

There has been considerable speculation as to where McMorris may wind up. It is expected that McMorris will make a decision by the National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Saints lineman Nick Larriva announced last week he had committed to play at Idaho State.
