Saddleback High scored on a 90-yard touchdown pass with 1:03 left in the game and rallied to defeat Century 20-19 in a wild non-league opener for both teams Friday night at Segerstrom.
It marked the debut of new Saddleback Coach Glenn Campbell.
Saddleback got the ball back after Century a punt.
Then on third down, quarterback Albert Marquez connected with Isaias Ramirez on the biggest play of the night for a touchdown pass and Saddleback held Century on its attempt to come back.
The game, which included numerous turnovers and injury timeouts,. took nearly three and a half hours to complete.
