Saddleback High’s girls basketball team won its second game out of the gate in Orange Coast League play defeating Estancia 53-13 Thursday night at Saddleback.
The Roadrunners (11-8, 2-0) were led by Karla Gutierrez who had 12 points and Maria Martinez, who had eight points.
Estancia (0-16, 0-2) was led by Adriela Sandoval, who had seven rebounds and Elisa Hernandez, who had five rebounds and three steals.
Saddleback also defeated Calvary Chapel 58-41 Wednesday night in front of a big crowd on an Adidas pack the gym night at Saddleback. Calvary Chapel is expected to provided the top challenge to the Roadrunners in league play.
Saddleback was led by Gutierrez, who had 15 points, Kayleen Palomino, who had 14 and Karime Lopez, who had 11 points.
