Troy High School’s football team, led by a strong defensive effort, defeated Sonora 35-7 Friday night in a Freeway League game at Fullerton.
Anthony Santoro, Daniel Everest, Aydan Corrales and Charles Lin led the defensive charge that led the defense and kept Sonora off the scoreboard until the final 18 seconds of the game.
Troy is 6-2 overall and 1-1 in the league while Sonora is 5-2 and 1-1.
