Jamison King, a promising pitcher on the Portola baseball team, signed his national letter of intent Thursday with Concordia University.
It was the first national letter of intent signing for Portola, according to Athletic Director Katie Levensailor.
“Jamison has committed to Concordia baseball. We are proud of how he has represented PHS as a student athlete and look forward to his future successes,” Levensailor said.
King had many outstanding games last year as a junior for a Portola team that struggled in its first year of Pacific Coast League play. He struck out 16 in a game against University.
