Portola and Woodbridge will compete for the PCL boys basketball championship Tuesday night at Woodbridge as the league’s post-season tournament wraps up.
The final is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The tournament will determine the league’s four automatic berths in the CIF playoffs. Portola (which has won 15 in a row), Woodbridge and Irvine have clinched three of the playoff berths.
The fourth automatic playoff berth will be determined as a result of the other game between Northwood and University, which will be at 4:30 p.m.
Irvine and Sage Hill will play for third place at 6 p.m.
The first game will feature St. Margaret’s vs. Laguna Beach at 3 p.m.
Portola (22-5) defeated Woodbridge 50-48 during the PCL regular season at Portola. Woodbridge (18-9) was without its top player, Jaiden Sabino, who has returned after a broken hand injury on his non-shooting hand.
The final standings in the tournament are determined by points accumulated in the regular season and the tournament.
