Crean Lutheran’s boys basketball team, top-seeded in the CIF 2A playoffs, won its opener Wednesday, defeating Troy 79-61.
Coach Nate Klitzing’s Saints (14-2) advance to the second round Friday to face Silverado (6-3) in Victorville.
Koat Keat had 35 points, 17 rebounds and four assists, Michael Birket had 18 points and Parker Tuttle had six points and four assists to lead the Saints against Troy.
