Crean Lutheran’s girls basketball team opened the CIF 2AA playoffs Thursday night defeating Cantwell Sacret Heart 66-49 at home.
The Saints (15-4) were led by Emily Reed, who had 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and made six 3-pointers.

Maddie Snyder had 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists and Taylor Feldman added 13 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Maya Bland had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Crean Lutheran advances to the second round Saturday on the road against Santa Barbara.
